For the month of October, our faculty was treated to their own personal Oktoberfest, complete with soft pretzels and obatzda (Bavarian cheese sauce to die for!), weisswurst (white sausages) with freshly made sauerkraut (by Alpine Deli – truth in advertising) and homemade German potato salad (by our own personal German chef, Mrs. Voogd). Dessert was a sumptuous apple strudel. Beverages included Apfelschorle (apple juice and sparkling water) and non-alcoholic imported German beer.
